Benjamin Schwarz
Benjamin Schwarz is founder and senior managing consultant at CTO Innovation Consulting, and President of Greening of Streaming. Based in Paris, he brings more than thirty years of experience in telecoms, media and video technology to a practice that spans strategic consulting, technical advisory, and strategic communications.
His consulting work covers the full breadth of video delivery — streaming and OTT strategy, CDN architecture, Ultra HD, codec strategy, home networking, and Quality of Experience — for content owners, technology vendors and operators globally. He is equally at home writing a board-level technology strategy and drafting the white paper that articulates it to the market.

Benjamin spent eight years with Orange (2001–2009) across video technology, QoE, and international content services, and previously served as CTO of Net4Music and VP Business Development at Witbe. He founded CTOiC in 2008 and co-founded WolfPack Communications in 2013.
At Greening of Streaming he leads industry work on the environmental impact of streaming infrastructure and devices, through real energy measurement.
He holds a BA in Computer Science from King’s College London and an Executive MBA from INSEAD. He is bilingual in English and French.
